MDI Limited Warranty
Micro Design International (MDI) storage hardware is covered by a one-year standard warranty that includes 3 months of Express Satisfaction. Should your product fail to conform to specification within 12 months of date of purchase, MDI will repair or replace your defective or malfunctioning product at no cost as set forth in this warranty. Replacement parts or products will be furnished on an exchange basis only. Replacement parts assume the remaining warranty of the parts they replace. Replaced parts and/or products become the property of MDI. No warranty is express or implied for products damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized modification.
All other warranties, express or implied, (including all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a purpose), are hereby disclaimed. If your product does not perform as warranted herein, owner's sole remedy shall be repair or replacement as provided above. In no event will MDI be liable to any purchaser for damages, consequential damages arising from purchase, use or inability to use this product, even if MDI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
During the warranty period, MDI will repair or replace defective or malfunctioning hardware. Upon the receipt of returned hardware to MDI, (A) The hardware will be repaired and shipped back to the customer, or (B) The customer will be notified that the hardware has been returned to the manufacturer for repair and will be returned to the customer immediately upon completion. Return freight – ground will be paid by MDI. Return time can be expedited by Express Shipping services at the customer's request and expense.

Express Satisfaction is an expanded warranty program that offers quick replacement or repair of problem hardware. Under this program MDI will ship replacement hardware (based on product availability) within 48 hours of determination by MDI’s technical support assistants that there is a hardware problem, excluding weekends and MDI holidays. The replacement product will be provided at no cost to the customer. Return freight – standard next day service will be paid by MDI. Return time can be expedited by Express Shipping services at the customer's request and expense.

Warranty service described here may be obtained only after product registration information has been received by MDI. Once you receive your new product, send completed warranty information to the following address:
